Priyanka Shinde has been a dream in the making for a few years. Stepping into full-time entrepreneurship and transforming this site beyond a blog has been exhilarating and nerve wrecking at the same time. Leaving a high-paying leadership role at Cruise last month was not an easy decision. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the smartest people in the tech industry who helped me grow personally and professionally. I will always be thankful to them.
My deep passion for Technical Program Management (TPM) and the value it can bring to individuals and organizations is the driving force behind the pivot to start my own business. The risks are worth the rewards of helping others reach their goals.
When I started out as a TPM over a decade back, the role was not widely known or understood. Without prevalent learning resources, I worked hard and developed strategies that helped me become a stronger TPM. This in turn gave me opportunities to work on incredibly complex programs at Meta (AI Assistant, Smart Devices) and Cruise (Autonomous Vehicles). Making technical domain shifts helped me adapt to new environments with a short runway.
With the transition to leadership roles, I found joy in solving strategic problems for the org helping my team with their career development goals. Creating scalable frameworks and building strong teams from the ground up through streamlined recruiting and interviewing processes helped my teams accelerate. At the same time, I also saw first hand how organizations did not leverage the TPM role to full advantage. I worked tirelessly to bring clarity to the role while motivating my teams to make meaningful impact and achieve results that matter.
TPM is now a highly coveted and valued function. As products become more complex, so does the need for excellent TPMs.
This is where I can help; by sharing the wealth of knowledge, tips and tricks accumulated over the years. My mission is to help you get to your goals faster through a planned strategic approach. My solutions are valuable for both individuals who need help navigating their careers and organizations who need expertise to help them scale faster. Personally, I have benefited a lot from career and leadership coaching and hope to do the same for you all.
